Really well done! Very professional feeling. Great job!

Great game, but it would be great if there was a way to keybind the shoot key to something other than "J". Its a very awkward key to use.

Otherwise, great game, premise, and level design!

I wish I could read asbout what the game even is!

the little wording on the featured page says

Strandy's Adventure
Play as Strandy, a slime capable of cast

and that's it/

literally nothing here for me to read ^^b

Good point, i'll add a description early tomorrow. :)

^^ awesome, can't wait to find out what strandy  casts lol

I've added a description on the game's page, the short description/tagline reads "Play as Strandy, a slime capable of casting strands of slimey goo to use as a rope." but it's possible itch.io cut it short.

ah yeah, that's definitely what happened lol x3

This is brilliant! Such fantastic use of a simple mechanic and it just works so well! Great work!

Thanks for playing! And even making a video of it, too! Glad you liked it :) We may not have checkpoints, but the level select is not locked so you could check out the two remaining levels that way. And if I may ask, how were you playing the game? It really shouldn't be that zoomed out.

I had just launched the game normally. It may have something to do with my 4k monitor, but I'm not sure.

Hey thank you for playing!
In the early tutorial and the area after the 7:20 mark the trick is to aim down and lift yourself up using the rope, honestly i'm amazed you managed to climb all the way up the hard way! :O

In a future update i'll improve that portion of the tutorial, once again thank you for playing, it was very entertaining to watch! :)

Oooh, I didn't realize that was an option. Kind of the idea of "pushing rope" haha

Very fun concept! I like how it's a puzzle game and that it's not just swinging but that you can also climb down with the help of the rope. The retro style of the game is very nice :D

I don't know if you've heard of Game Development World Championship before (gdwc2019) but it's a competition for indie game developers where they can submit their games and it's free! It's great if you want some more visibility for the game and it only takes a couple of minutes to join :)

Thanks for playing! Glad you liked it! :)

I think I've heard of GDWC before in passing, but hadn't thought of submitting this before you mentioned it. We are intending on polishing this a bit, and we'll think about submitting after that.

Nice! GDWC closes in September so there's still time to submit :)
